Rates Policy:
B&Bs: Rates are based on maximum occupancy. Most rooms can accommodate two persons per room, three or four per suite. Larger rooms can accommodate an extra guest, for whom there would be a charge of $20/night.
Motel: Rates are based on occupancy of up to four persons per room. One extra person can be accommodated, for whom there would be a charge of $10/night.
Room rates posted are subject to change without notice and do not include taxes. State and local taxes total 11%.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, cash, travelers’ checks and personal checks with ID.
Peak Season / Off Season dates:
Peak season rates apply from June 22 to September 16, 2007, and from June 20 to September 14, 2008, as well as for holidays and holiday weekends.
Saturdays and Holidays:
A two-night minimum applies to holidays and peak season weekends that include a Saturday night stay. For some weekends, the two-night minimum for Saturday nights is waived but an extra fee of $20, or $50 for luxury rooms, may be added to Saturday night only reservations.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made more than four days prior to your arrival date will be cancelled without charge.
Cancellations made for any reason within 4 days of your arrival will be charged the full amount of the reservation. A refund credit voucher for the full amount, valid for a year, will be given so that the reservation may be rescheduled.
Reservations made with a refund voucher that are cancelled within four days of the date of arrival (or that check out early) are charged the full amount of the reservation and a second refund voucher will not be issued.
Early departures (for any reason) will be charged the full amount of their reservation and will be issued a refund voucher for the amount of days remaining on the reservation.
The standard cancellation policies do not apply for multiple room reservations. Please call for details.
Smoking:
We are a non-smoking property. Please light up the place with your smile. Smoking is permitted outdoors, away from other guests.
Check-in & Check-out:
Check-in time is between 2:00pm and 6:00pm during the week, and 2:00pm and 8:00pm on weekends and in the summer. Please make arrangements for alternate check-in times.
Check-out time is 11:00am.
Phones and Internet Access:
Guestrooms and motel rooms do not have telephones. A public payphone is located beside the office and portable phones are located in the common areas of the Sherman House B&B and the Terrace Hill B&B for your use.
Free wireless high-speed Internet access is available throughout the property, in addition to several plug-in data ports in the Sherman House, Terrace Hill and RiverView Room common areas. We have a plug-in wireless aerial to loan to guests with laptops that don't have a built-in aerial.
Allergy-free B&B Rooms:
Non-smoking rooms are available with hypoallergenic pillows and bare wood floors. Please let us know your need of an allergy-free room in advance of your stay.
Grounds:
Free parking onsite for guests.
Children:
The White Rose Motel welcomes children of all ages. The White Rose Bed and Breakfasts are orientated for adults seeking a tranquil atmosphere, and they are generally unsuitable for children under 12. There are some exceptions to this policy so please call and speak with us.
Pets:
The Inns are pet-free.
